Breed’s grooming
The unique shape of American Curl ears needs special attention. Once a month, the ears should be cleaned carefully. Silky and semi-long body coat of the cat doesn’t need regular grooming. Longhair Curls do not have matting problems, and both types have very little shedding. But American Curls do enjoy the care that comes with weekly brushing.
Breed’s health
This is quite a new breed and they have no known health issues. Also, there are no genetic health issues for this cat and is generally a healthy cat.
